After I left The Poppies to play in Tremolo, Mick and Jim formed the Dynotones by adding Danno as another guitar player. They opted for no bass player. 

When I quit Tremolo, I join in The Dynotones. We dubbed ourselves as “Strictly instrumental hot-rod surf”. That was from 96-98. Shortly after I joined, Danno left. We recorded, but never finished. We played roof tops, parties, car shows, and a bowling alley of all places.
