Microgroove morphed into The Poppies with the Addition of Jim DeBeau on the drums. We continued playing MicroGroove tunes and wrote many more. Our greatest achievement was cutting a 7 inch 33 1/3 rpm single titled The Sun Is In My Eyes, backed with Mission to Mars. I left The Poppies to pursue a serious attempt at “making it” with Tremolo.
